Den of Nalorakk Warding Incense Mythic+ Tip
Use both Warding Incense altars to extend a group-wide 5% Versatility buff through the opening of Den of Nalorakk.
What Warding Incense Does
Den of Nalorakk has two Warding Incense altars in its opening area. Activating one grants the player and nearby allies 5% Versatility for 10 minutes. The buff improves damage and healing while also reducing incoming damage, and Blizzard’s August 18 hotfix made it apply to all nearby allies and persist through death.
Requirements
- Bring a Druid of any specialization or a character with at least 25 skill in Midnight Alchemy.
- A Druid must shift into Bear Form before interacting with an altar.
- Have the group stand nearby before the altar is activated so everyone receives the buff.
Two-Altar Route
Activate the first altar
Use the first altar as the keystone begins, after the group is close enough to receive Warding Incense.Clear the opening section
Continue toward The Hoardmonger while watching the remaining duration of Warding Incense.Delay the second altar
Use the second altar just before the first buff expires, or shortly after defeating The Hoardmonger if that lines up better with your pace.
Common Failure Modes
- No eligible Druid or Midnight Alchemist is present, leaving the altars unusable.
- The Druid attempts the interaction outside Bear Form.
- Players are too far away when the altar is activated and miss the group-wide buff.
- The second altar is clicked immediately, refreshing a nearly full 10-minute duration instead of extending coverage.
